Keeping in mind the important role education has to play, we at SFS have realized that the object of education is to prepare the young to educate themselves throughout their lives.
Thomas Edison and his friends had just finished making the first electric bulb a marvel of his time. Edison handed over the bulb to a young assistant with instructions to keep it carefully on his bed. But while placing it on the bed, it slipped from his hands and smashed into pieces. For Edison and his friends it took almost 24 hours to produce another bulb. Edison knew that the broken bulb and the lost hours of hard work can be made up but to build up the lost confidence of a young child is not an easy task. Realizing this great task, the management and the teachers of SFS, aim to impart an all round and balanced education that lays emphasis on physical, intellectual and moral values with special stress on character formation.
